RC Sailing Mar Menor group was started in September 2014 from a previous group that sailed at Los Alcazares. Unfortunately there were problems with increasing costs, no provision to store a rescue boat or club equipment, and increasing competition for the water and access to the jetty.After much searching  a new venue at Lo Pagan was found and the club secured an agreement for RC Sailing. The facility benefits from much lower costs, hard-standing for a club boat very close to a slipway, secure storage for equipment, on a nice compact site, soft playground type surface for putting boats down, and excellent car parking just a short distance from the water. A mariner is permanently based there with a stand-by rescue dinghy for the rare occasions rescue is beyond our ability. The centre has a bar and restaurant located on the first floor.

As well as sailing the group enjoys various social events,this year we had the honour of the Spanish Champion Guillermo Beltri presenting the prizes at our Cup awards dinner.

After sailing we always meet in one of the local cafes for a drink a chat and perhaps a bite to eat. Future trips are also being planned
